California is always behind these days. Good luck to everyone in living there enjoy the view of the Pacific Coast.

OP. Thanks. No I don't work for CVX, just a recruiter trolling for info. That's why I know so little.

Anyone can visit the CA EDD web site to see what WARN letters have been issued this year. A recent WARN letter was issued for the El Segundo refinery ... 50 positions for permanent layoff. There was a San Ramon WARN letter a couple of months ago for 80 positions for permanent layoffs, but without analyzing the letter it is hard to understand what the scope actually was for. The news media can do whatever they want with the information. And based on past reorgs .... what the WARN letter states and what happens in reality can be different. In other words, I would not put a lot of faith in using the letters to determine your fate ... especially at work locations like San Ramon that have many opcos represented.

It looks like CA is behind on their WARN data

What hasn’t a WARN notice info hit the news for San Ramon like it did for Houston?
