What has it been in the past, and is there any extra for long service? Any idea what it might be this time?

The post saying 7 months max is about right for last years layoff, remember it's based on base salary only. For those in sales you also get your OTE paid in full for your time until layoff. Everyone also gets any PTO owed paid up and a refund on any ESPP contributions. With the tax break I ended up taking home about a years net OTE salary in a lump sum.
That was certainly true back in 2009, but now...?
I heard it was a month for each year plus notice period.
In the past
About 4 months severance and then on top of that 1 week for every year served to a maximum of 12 years. So around 7 months max in total if you’ve served 12 years. £30k is tax free. Full tax on the rest.
