Admins

I wonder how many admins they will go down. Some admins only have 1 VP which not all vp’s have the same work load. These admins have enough time to bully the other admins around them that actually have team of people to support. I hope they revisit the svp and vp admins and move the others that really care about people into those positions. I am glad I have moved into a tech role but seeing this is discomforting. I have witnessed this over the last 15 years. Assuming like the rest of you this won’t change.

Not all admins are the same. Moved from Fairfax to Houston -HUGE difference in quality of support and people. Was it because the DC metro government emoyment basis? Much higher than average educational achievement in the population? Lower than average education in the Houston area? less intellwctually stimulating environment? Who knows, but huge diffetence

Regular person here. Admins never do anything for me. They only cater to the manager. Can't blame them for looking after their survival, but couldn't care less if they all vanished tomorrow.

It’s usually the real cowards that love to puck on admins. Come on that’s too easy.

This is a pitiful attack ad. And will be not successful.

'Admins' - that title really should only belong to the Management clowns.
Overseer to Plantation Manager.
Counting the staples left in their old box.
Picking pigeons and crows off the roof of the cracker.
Recording their ideas via telepathy.

The people maybe you are talking about are the only ones keeping a band-aid on the spluttering arse of the company.
To keep it from smothering the lowest levels like yourself.

I call them 'Care Takers'.

Many non-executive admins are OCA employees that had performance issues and/or their job was outsourced to a GBC. Instead of releasing they got made an admin. I literally have had an admin that did nothing but order food and scrutinize every single line item on expense reports.

Sad guys, sad!
Stop spewing your venom around! Like everybody else, there are good and bad admins! Respect your fellow worker!

I agree some make work look harder than what it really is. That is a major problem that they don’t make them learn. Instead they push it down the line. Yes some admins need to be replaced and some not. Soon they will have the techs doing even more admin work. I just hope they open their eyes and realize they would have a better outcome of admins if they would make the senior admins take the time and mentor them then bash. Most people hate going to the 6th floors because of the bossy admins that stomp down the floors crying that they are so busy when really they are busy interrogating other admins. These admins need to go.

There's plenty of admins with way too much time on their hands and very little work to do and tend to drag out the tasks they do have and make them seem more complicated than they are. Admins should be one of the biggest groups to be cut. That being said, even though they may add limited value, they do babysit the leaders they support who are the ones making the layoff decisions, so I don't see the VP's willingly giving up their admins.
