Look at their jobs page it’s all tech / data / engineers but those jobs that are actually FT as Nike employees are few and far between. Nike for years uses 3rd party vendors / contractors they importer tons of IT personnel from India paid them less and they worked on campus their families lived in tiny apts near campus it was like insourcing jobs to India/ Beaverton.

maybe no one...Nike has gotten a little fat and lazy and now has the same corporate overlords that keep getting passed around between corporations. Also, with hard times ahead economically, its possible we have reached the market growth cap for 200 dollar sneakers.
Anything to do with big data and getting fresh product to customers asap. Sadly, Nike is way behind every industry leader who's been doing this for at least the last 10-15 years. The good part is they still have product people consider "premium" and a pretty huge war chest. What is most concerning to me is how they will tackle marketing and branding going forward. They can only coast so much on what came before this current regime, and COVID is not helping.
@hto+: they've invested before just didn't understand it and most Sr. Directors and VP's tried to manipulate it. Let's hope they do the right thing this time.
Analytics, Nike is investing a lot in it.
ecomm for sure - there is so much effort and $$$ being poured there - they are sitting pretty.
i think in general anything that has to do with marketing will be solid too - we got to do this and that makes it stable
