Their check-in b—s— shows off their own offices and the luxury they live in and they are referring to themselves as heroes. Paying millions to those politically correct speakers they hired but they lay off people to pay for them.
Where's the evidence that Cisco is paying millions to "those politically correct speakers they hired"?
From what I heard and understood, most of the musicians and famous people are "friends" with Chuck and they attended a check-in as a favor to him. He either owes them now, or he called in a favor to repay a debt they owed him. He's certainly showing off how being rich makes you friends with other rich people.
As to the "speakers", they could have been paid as they didn't seem to act like they were friends of his.
But one thing about the check-ins has shown me that they certainly live a life of luxury. Who the heck has frosted glass french doors for a home office and has so much space that they can decorate a home office like it's featured in some home decorating magazine? Where's the clutter and personal stuff?
You could say the same of CTOs.
Defence in Depth
As many as they need to keep us "safe" have to have all the right buzzwords and titles nowadays.
Cisco is all about executives - they will lay off thousands but they won't deny themselves of the bonus money.
