Curious to hear about experience of those that were forced out of MP and into Charlotte last year. Was your pay lowered or did HON surprisingly honor your original employment offer and retain same compensation

Any big juicy raises since moving?

Unless of course you are a vp or "director in name only with no direct reports" in which case please send me a photo for my trading card collection.
I print union cards on the other side. Got a whole stack ready to go for my little building in redmond. Never know, you might get lucky with a former climber who rose to ceo later in another company. Several rare cards out there.

My pay was not reduced as a result of the Charlotte move. No one I know had their pay reduced either.

Be CAREFUL if they want you to “reapply”. This will probably switch your pension benefits as well. Could be a huge hit.

Best case ....if moving to a lower cost zone you will suddenly be at the top of the wage scale curve and will see no further raise possibility and be at high risk of layoff.

Worst case — relocation requires you to “reapply” for your position. You will be seeing a lower offer justified by B.S. COLA numbers and no severance if you turn it down.
