i’m going to follow the lead of the last hw3 forum and make all my slides pictures-only
Just remember, PowerPoint is a way to be more 'visible'.
Today's PowerPoint squad are the same a– kissers (and their offspring) who volunteered to set up the projector or VCR in 5th grade.
You would rather sit through a Word presentation?
Or talk about 27 complex Visio diagrams?
Ppt is a tool, and not evil. How it's used is the issue.
I am too busy looking at all the amazing posts my manager puts up on yammer, to be worried about PowerPoint. Another amazing product that takes up your day.
@bry+17oGZ7UT - you're absolutely right ... but for heavens sake, don't argue with them or tell them that they're wrong. Otherwise you'll be dropped in the rankings for "not helping them to be successful" or "not proactively offering to mentor them". That's some of the BS that was shoveled on me.
folks hold meeting to see when to schedule another meeting it's ridiculous , is what you get with the younger generation and their no common sense mentality ... a lot of wasted time
The ridiculous thing is the number of revisions and editing of words that occurs. To to mention the meetings to review and comment prior to sharing with the next level of management. Endless non value add work with self.
Please let me know if there is a PowerPoint recovery group.
Real work
lol - love it :-)
What would everyone do if PowerPoint was banned though?
