This will be the more traditional layoff model Cisco has perfected. Q2 earnings announcement on 2/10/21 or 2/17/21, with notification to Wall Street of another $1B cost reduction (perhaps more). Layoffs take place the next day, or Tuesday of the next week (TBD).
Figure at least another 7-8%. Then cascade the cuts WW.
Sets up the next one for September 2021, after Q4 earnings call, when Cisco will reach it's goal of 60K employees WW.
