According to the previous BU leadership, the very tough environment was due to market headwinds, but the truth was that both business and engineering were severely mismanaged. Even though the head and his close ties were removed, their close-knit and interrelated families are still deeply entrenched in the management. Not much change has really occurred. The downward spiral will continue unless a correction action is taken and executed correctly.

Look, I’m not a rah-rah fan boy, but running down SPBU is just nuts. In a very tough environment, SP is still holding its head above water. In fact, just found out we won a huge new deal today.

SPBU is a dead horse in Cisco. SPs are buying their gear from other vendors like Juniper/Arista/Huawei/etc

@1dxy+17oRGvBY, the vacuum left behind by previous LRs was quickly filled up by transferring Indians from Bangalore. Look at the org chart and where all the managers were from. The fate is already sealed. The product quality has gone to the toilet. The revenue drops like a rock. Not a surprise to anyone.

Lol...SPBU has gotten hammered by LRs starting 4 years ago. Didn't realize there was anything left in that group to LR.
