Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

No time to relax

There is no reason why everyone can't have two days off in a row. Sam's used to put your family first...TILL THE GREED TOOK OVER and became more important than anyone's family but their own! No more family camping trips, visits to family members, a 2 day getaway, relax and get ready for another work day of cr*p. Until your vacation comes around and MIGHT be approved.

OP by @3ske+17lTDjH9. Couldn’t agree more. The pace of work in this company is such that it is increasingly destroying families. I wonder how they don’t realise that a tired and dissatisfied worker can’t be productive and can’t really satisfy their needs?

When all this block schedule started we had a desk b–ch complaining about the day she has had for years, she even got our regional manager involved trying to get it her way.. it didn’t went her way, then she put her 2 weeks notice all managers were happy about her quitting, cuz she’s a trouble maker, then the b–ch change her mind and went part time, that didn’t work for her either, 2 weeks notice back again quitting again lol management exited about the b–ch quitting again! Long story short b–ch came back as a membership representative, now she’s acting as a front end manager not doing her job assignment at all... so SAMS CLUB IS A JOKE ABOUT EVERYTHING.. from block schedule to payroll raises in the front end the ones who get pay 15$ an hour are doing all the job 16$ an hour supposed to do...

The company may not care about us, but when the whole block scheduling began, we had two days off in a row, then some people started bit*hing about never having a Sunday or Saturday off. The company change the days off to split days, rotating to give weekends off one time a month.

So if the company changed the rules before, they can change it again.

There are plenty of us who don't like split days, and who actually don't like weekends. The company could make concessions.

How are you supposed to get anything done with split days off? You can't. I'm with you, I want two days off in a row too. And I don't care which two days off.

If it were true, that too many employees with two days off in a row would call off an additional day to make it three, then those with one day off would call off to make it two.

I've had two days off in a row before all this change and I never called off. Rarely took days off. But not that my days are split, I schedule more days off.

There are too many people in my club that get 2 days off in a row and call in the next day to make it 3. All that does is screw the rest of us. Im sure thats why they dont want to do it
