Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Reasons for a bad reputation.

A fine example of why HON has become synonymous with poorly made c-ap.

I wonder if the machines that make the Honeywell masks are actually designed and made by Honeywell? Probably outsourced from China. :(

Germfalcon as seen on CNN! .. oh wait we bought that from a startup....
N95 masks!, making tons of money there ( really we are) oh wait... that was norcross safety products that we bought and outsourced to mexico and china in like 2015..we just restarted the old lines.

We definitely design and make avionics stuff... but our quality is bottom of industry and price is at top at least according to the airbus customer congrats quote splashed on my computer screen saver. (Why am i seeing that? Like I can fix it from my peon job?)

Starting to understand why nobody hands out honeywell shirts anymore.
Nobody would wear them i guess.
Do you think that might be a tell for how management really feels?
Not proud enough to buy even a stupid polo shirt once in a while?

A large percentage of HON products are now licensed. It is cheaper to have someone else design, manufacturer and distribute the product.

HON simply takes a cut to allow the use of the name. This will work until the brand gets diluted by inferior products and offerings.

If you want to see what HON will become shortly, take a walk thru WalMart’s offerings. Everything is reduced down by engineering and design to be the cheapest to manufacture with little regard to quality, durability or usefulness.

What was the last product out of aero that was designed and built in house?
