“my ODC self” is triggering my OCD self

The reason they make such a hoo-ha about this “award” (aka “purchase”) up above is that they know it’s not really true... and that the only way they will get that message and reputation out there into the ether is exactly that way, as it will not / cannot be gained organically through direct employee feedback and experience.
Let's get it right, they were not fired, but they were LRed. Now my ODC self can resume life.
It's the biggest lie in the news right now. It's completely not true. Now I know these best place to work stories are complete BS. Give it 6 months. Next round of layoffs will happen.
It's because they have the best, most beautiful, huuge layoffs. No one does it better than Cisco. All other companies are id–ts and incompetent. The stable genius leadership at Cisco does such a great job, everyone who is impacted will just disappear, like a miracle.
