Lead pay raises?

Rumors going around my club all team leads will go to $23 in January. Wouldn’t usually believe but heard it from someone that usually is correct about these kinds of things. Any word at any other clubs

Merch leads are getting 19. Fresh leads are getting a dollar bump as well. Also lowest paid associates in club are getting a boost to 15 and merch drivers are getting $17

This is BS!! I’m a 25+ year associate, make $18+throughout that time I have been “capped” for many years. There are TL’s that make the same or more and do less! No one is paid for their performance anymore. We’ve got leads that are glorified stockers, more concerned with their “friends”, and aren’t held accountable for what their duties should be. And COS’s that don’t care, ask them something, no clue, call of regularly, have way too many friends under them that they cover for, even closed door “relations” in the club...YUCK!! Point it out, watch video, just gets laughed about. it’s horrible. Our mgmt staff needs to change...way too much favoritism!! All these “leaders” that s— are tearing down the morale, k–ling our club.

Fresh Lead top out is already $29.70. People will do it for less. Work your way up to 30. If you're young, and can stand the BS, you'll get there.

Most managers can’t even log onto the H.O. screen on SMART much less even use any of the screens they lack any knowledge whatsoever of. Don’t even ask them to try to drive a lift. Useless and lazy.

Managers absolutely can step down with a 10% pay cut. Happens all the time. My team lead is a former manager.

They won't let a manager take the team lead spot. You will be without a job. You can not step down in your club.

To the manager who thinks they can replace a fresh lead, I say Hahahaha. Managers don't know the first thing about how much work a fresh lead has to do. Just looking at byod does not RUN the department. Managers would fail at the job.

If this is true Team leads best start looking for jobs ASAP. Managers will take your positions. Pretty close to the same pay while only working 40 hours a week. I know I will. Hahahahahahahahahaahahha

Company is getting ready to eliminate all management except club mgr and 1 co mgr to fill in for vacations. Leads will be the new managers minus the title. Sams is smart and a little sneaky. Won't give the title so the leads won't be able to use the mgr title on resumes to get hired elsewhere as a mgr.

The sporadic way they are giving raises is not good on the morale of the assoicates who are not getting anything. I cannot believe they are paying front line cashiers 15.00 an hour and are not give zip to merchandisers. Merchandisers made sure the stock is out and they zone the floor not to mention assist members. I can tell you for me you can have you 15.00 an hour cashiers, cos you all have to be trained in five areas. Ha Ha. What I do not understand is the changes to the door greeters. The Exit door people will be part of the front end moving forward. The Entrance door greeters are not part of this move, therefore they will not be paid 15.00 and hour like the people on the exit door. What a joke and gigantic slap in the face to these people. I also understand that all front end people will be trained on registers, exit door, self checkouts, dispensing curbside orders and membership. So there you go, more money, more work.
