Anybody else receive a phone call asking if they would Be willing to be added to a job slate?
Human Resources does its selections next week. Officially. But, they probably made their selections weeks ago when they were writing the job descriptions.
I can imagine the conversation
Hello: is this "insert employee name"?
"You have been left standing"
Employee , jumping jacks, high fiving in silence.
Oh okay, so sad, oh no . etc
Good luck finding a new job.
Thank you so much.

woo hooooooooooooo, party time
Not only are they processing EOI's but they are also deciding which of all the deadwood that needs to be chopped will be cut loose. That takes a bit more time.
Leadership must complete ‘Sensitivity’ training and ‘How to Fake like I am a nice and caring person’ training before notifications can be made.
R3 EOI were automatically accepted. I am shocked that it didn’t automatically accept R4 people
I put on for EOI and though May manager said there is zero chance I’d be put into a position there is a bit of fear about it. Can’t wait to get my thumbs up “you were granted EOI” LOL!
What kind of feedback?
Lots of CSOC feedback from the meetings.
The meetings are, when one takes everything into consideration within the framework and guidelines in which they were intended to be conducted, going well and will, after further deliberation and negotiations by those in authority who are authorized to authorize decisions, conclude in the appropriate due course of time.
how any off you know how may EOI's have been tendered is beyond me, unless you are on selections committees - you are guessing and trolling and stirring up drama here
I put in for EOI too. I’m ready.
Disagree with it being a weaker company. People who have been held down or back because a business unit didn’t want to lose a resource will now be allowed to change the culture and process.
Chevron is going to end up being a weaker and more disjointed company if they fill these remaining positions with low experience and low productivity people. The company should use this downturn to clean house. The PC hiring and promotion of the wrong people over the past years need to go. Correct the mistakes now.
@xqh - plugged with contractors, not with employees. I hear the selections have been brutal because they are intentionally leaving positions unfilled.
Strong to very strong?
I also heard there were a high number of EOI’s so there are more holes that have to be plugged.
God I hope not. I put in my EOI, and I am so anxious to leave this place.
Selection meetings will be tougher than anticipated. More EOI's than expected and more time needed in moving the chess pieces around to ensure biz continuity. Some EOI's may not get approved as experience is being diluted...
one more week
Meetings should be done at this point. HR will take over and generate offer letters or termination letters.
They started on Monday.
