Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Two days off in a row.

I swear, I'd join a union if they promised two days off in a row. You get nothing with only one day off. You can't go anywhere or do anything with the family.

365 days off can't be done with the younger associates, obviously. But that place is only out for more more MORE money. They do NOT care about the people that work for them. They used to, but those days are long gone. There are so many other jobs out there...confidence in yourself is needed to find one. Older and long time associates can't do the work of a younger associate and they hope these people will quit, to save the friggin company money. It su**s but so true. I recently resigned due to their unfair practices and some of their snot nose team leads that can't even lead their own lives! Shameful!

I'd like to have a couple days off in a row myself - without my manager threatening me when I ask for a weekend off.

When they started block scheduling, we were supposed to have two days off in a row. Then a week or so later, they changed their minds. Can't wait until things change again.

Why don’t you quit and get 365 days off in a row every year. You can’t beat that!
