I also thought that after over 20 years with AT&T, that long ago we should have already become a leading tech giant. We are not. Not even close. And we continue to slide behind everyone.

att knows nothing about growth. they try to be hip and think giving their employees nano degrees will take them places and think they are going to be google or beat google. att is a joke and if any of the new hires are reading this they should leave and don't waste your life like I did at att. I left after 18 years thinking it is going to change and we will be this cool little technology company all during those years. There are so many better companies to work for than att. I am at my second company since I left att and I am making more money than I ever did at at att. Both companies were not even in the same league as att they were a total 180 and both are fortune 500 companies.
att is a joke put in your time get some experience and leave - I wish I did sooner.
