@lax+17w2yeUQ I think you mean BUY puts, not sell them.

I’ve been buying XOM puts for the past few years now and have been making a k–ling while all of your 401ks got chopped in half

YES ABSOLUTELY!

Sell everything you own and buy all of the XOME stock you can find.

I can tell right away when someone not affiliated to XOM comments on this site. Just by looking at the way they spell "ExxonMobile".

Anyone who actually works or has worked there knows its ExxonMobil without an e

Absolutely you should. 10% dividend yield and growing. I’m sure our execs are spending all their personal savings on shares given their commitment to a reliable and growing Dividend

Why not? We are the best O&G company in the world! Great leadership displayed by Darren Woods. Been winning since 2017! BUY BUY BYE!

How much lower can it go! If you are lucky, you may even get to buy it indirectly from our Presidents!

XOM, if you must I would sell Jan 20, 2023 Strike $20 puts for $3, so effective buy price if executed would be $17. If not (meaning XOM is higher than $20 in Jan 2023) you get to keep the premium. This trade looks attractive with less downside risk. Should XOM go down further after Qtrly report or dividend cut (I am not implying it would happen), premium would go much higher that is the time to sell long term puts. Short term puts have very low premium not worth the risk

don't invest. you should only invest in businesses you understand. if you can't spell the company's name you probably don't know anything about it's business.

I would invest in other mobile companies as they have better infrastructure and are rolling out 5G towers. I have heard our 5G roll out plan is non-existent.

Since you are asking this on a layoff message board I would say no because your conviction is non-existent. Just because you are anchored to a higher price in your mind doesn't mean the current price is cheap. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't, but you need to have a high conviction if you are going to invest in any individual company's stock.
