Your speeds were great until the splitter you're on currently got filled up with bandwidth hogs. But don’t worry, you’ll be back at least 400meg when we turn up 2 gigabit! 😆

stankey is a mo–n. I had fiber to my house and the speeds were great for six months then they went down to like 100 up 200 down and of course the fine writing says att does not guarantee any speed.

that is why you are losing mo–n you cannot keep your word like a snake oil salesman. grow a pair and get some ethics.

I don't see how spending hour after hour patching copper(especially with not many customers as before) is cheaper than putting in new fiber. Labor hours are labor hours whether it's cable repair or C&E, it just comes down to equipment costs then, RGs & ONTs are pretty cheap... not to mention nthe customers you could pick up when the fiber service becomes available

What fiber expansion? The only outfit expanding fiber here is Metronet. T stopped all work here in June 2019.

I don't know about the rest of you all, but I'm starting to think tomorrow's earnings report isn't going to be good.

The elephant room is the inability to jettison the copper footprint, along with the employees that service it. It's not like it's a winning proposition any more. Verizon did a lot better dumping their footprint onto Frontier and Fairpoint.

So long as AT&T doesn't get rid of copper based telephony, it's like swimming with an anchor chained to one ankle. It is kinda like requiring Ford to build stagecoaches and buggywhips.

LOL ... The "Spot On" head cutting comment about Time Warner in the story on yahoo finance, I found especially hilarious. Moving in and screwing up another company ... we are right exactly on schedule ruining our next acquisition!!!

How about just stop building/selling fiber, profits will just hit the roof, problem solved!

The dude is becoming a pathetic laughingstock. Problem is, he’s already severely damaged the company, and will walk away with millions. His likely successor, Jeff Mackerel Fish, won’t be one bit better.
