I lost my employment with T after 31 plus years because I worked from home and was not in Collaboration Zone. Well that's what they told everyone. They spent all kinds of money on these and now everyone is working from home like I was. As a side note I worked on our International Internet Network and was working on the latest technology. What comes around goes around, bunch of fools.

Sounds like the way AT&T does things, dumbly, bubbly, half way and left unfinished
20 years here, consistent Extraordinary Impact/Far Exceeds, top in group, 40 years old and I was shown the door. Never given a chance to move, outside of cz, and my group was severely understaffed. We can give 500k+ to cohen for access to trump, though.

In retrospect, after 21+ years, best thing that's ever happened. New job, less BS, more $, and no ATT-PTSD.
There is a 3 million dollar fancy, high tech area in MT built for Flex Force. State of the art furniture, chairs that were $3k each. Dozens of big screen TVs, monitors, sleek couches, fully equipped kitchen. Now collecting dust.
@kpo+17y0EfzL you should ask questions before you stick your foot in your mouth, I was not Virtual office, I went into office everyday, the issue was I was not in a collaborate zone, I don't agree or like Virtual office, but just could not afford to move given health issues, so don't assume you know everything when you make a dumb post

you worked over 30 years for one company. Be thankful for that. Who does that in this day and age? And you are still bitter because God forbid you had to go in to work.
Ditto- 20+ years in IT, about half of that working from home where I was a lot more productive than any time I spent in the office "collaborating". I was beginning to see the writing on the wall when TechDev ended up controlling all of the technology and charging ridiculous costs for something simple. I never understood how upper management could be ok with such wasteful spending, and yet constantly preach about finding cost efficiencies. I guess it's all just part of the corporate doubletalk game. Anyhoo- much happier now in my new job.
