Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Legal counsel

There have been comments from folks who have sought successful legal action against Chevron for employment related issues like age discrimination and such. Anyone willing to share firm names or contact info...or give some hints to help out people who may want some legal counsel?

BE CAREFUL. Lawyers will be glad to take your money even if you have no hope of winning a case. They will lead you on just to bleed you dry.

If they really think you have a case, they should be happy with taking your case on a contingency fee basis. So you are not out any money unless you win.

Try. Milton, Chadwick & Waters, I believe they have an office in Houston.

No one is taking OP seriously (and no, I am not the OP). Thought this was a site to discuss all things layoff and there are so many angry a— people on here who you would think would want to know how to get some representation if they are laid off. I guess people on here really are Chevron employees - all talk, no action and lazy AF.

Just be a better employee instead of whining about BS age discrimination or other. Good luck. You think this is the first time a company like cvx has had mass layoffs?

Curious about your thought process. Assuming an inquiry along these lines would most likely be tied to age related bias. Have you either observed a trend in R3 or expect to see something in R4? Class action, individual?

You may want to consult with Dewey, Cheatham and Howe.
