Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

It's still a good job

No, it's not perfect. But it's a job and it's a decent job in a time when tens of millions of unemployed people would give anything to trade with you. Keep that in mind next time you want to complain about the 'evil' company that's putting food on your table.

No it is just job just like one you would leave and find somewhere else. That's not the point stop lying to yourself pretending its better. If the company is so noble why not start taking better care of its people?

It’s a job. You would move on to the better one if you could, wouldn’t you? You are here doing this job because probably this is the best you could do. Why would company do more for you when that is obviously the situation. They pay you and do for you exactly to have you where they want you to be. Complaining becomes a habit, that’s how you settle with your own situation because you can’t do any better than this.

Its a JOB Whole foods market doesnt care about its people. And there are many jobs that go unfilled or TM just stop showing up so how good is it really? Anyone that is complaining generally dislikes the fact that health insurance and raises go down yearly but WFM is doing very well at this point but nothing is being given back. They crammed the essential worker and hero garbage down everyone's throat at the start of the year. Clearly it was a lie America is number one with covid and WFM is dropping the ball on protecting its people. People not wearing mask are not asked to leave the store and told to use delivery. People not covering both there nose and mouth are not spoken too.

I agree, it's not perfect, and there are no perfect jobs. But what I hate is the company trying to give the apperance that it cares. The truth is WFM doesn't care, and that's fine, but don't pretend to care. It's that deception over TMs is what makes WFM "evil".
