They are hitting the number of job cuts to please share holders. Slaying 250 full time employees. Very sh–ty way of handling job cuts. Completely blind sighted all the employees. Time to move to different company
Went from the hottest company to sh–tiest to work for. I still have a job but cannot work under a threat of getting blindsided anytime. Time to fly! and to all the people who lost their job, I hope you find a better company to work for.
The Director and Regional Manager do a 15 minute call. Pretty much sums it up above, but I called out the Director as not being honest. He didn’t like that much , but basically when you know more than Management they squirm. Basically has absolute zero about workload ( I was the highest performing manager in my region by their own measurement standards, not mine)but seniority. You can be a goof off for 8-10 years and be safe. Less than 5 and you’re expendable. Their loss. It’s hard to find good talent.
Manager schedules a 15 minute call with you and their manager is also on the call. They start by saying how they need to have a tough conversation with you and that they are having to restructure. Pretty much all BS and you can tell it’s scripted. My director didn’t even have the audacity to turn his video on. He just pretty much said I’m sorry and if you have any questions reach out to Business Support.
They schedule a quick "reorg overview" with you, then tell you its going to be a hard conversation. Severance package is nice, and they will offer you career coaching service for 6 months. Get on that ASAP, they are a huge help! Best of luck!
