Shocked to see that in this day and age JPMC wants us to use our personal devices to get work done and with WFH here to stay, no talks about reimbursing people for their devices/internet/electricity.
Amount of work has gone up exponentially to meet deadlines and to top it off, NO INCREMENTS AND BONUS THIS YEAR!!
All this would have been fine if they hadn't layed off people in order to save costs or if they didnt have an amazing Q3 results.
Time to leave and get the well deserved increment/bonus elsewhere.

We used to get $20 byod allowance but only certain states allow that.
putting aside even the increased costs in utilities, what about the privileged assumption everyone had the tech required to do the work in the first place?
Ah, Wells Fargo is laying off 25%, and the bloodletting has already started. Further, no reimbursement for wfh and employees will have to use their own devices soon. Be grateful. After all, it’s thanksgiving time
Dang bro eaze up as dude says is bottom donkey in the food chain.
What is the extra cost then. I guess you should facor in no free coffee too or toilet flushes
its not just the laptop that you use while working. AC/Heater, lights, water.....it all adds up
I can venom you 9 dollar if it helps with bill. Laptops dont dreaw much electricity
Just like when I was discussing with my coworker. I think the firm should pay wfh employees extra to compensate electric bills since the bill has gone way higher working at home
Atleast you are drawing a salary and are not laid off. You must be a 1st year employee as these tuff decisions are made by the executives during times like these. The other Morgan is quick to terminate and so pls be grateful.
As for the other guy atleast you are saving money on commuting so s— it up and pay for the electricity to work during the day
