I see that many folks are very negative on this board. Why are you with still with CC if you dislike the company that much? It's a frank question.

Omg this is a LAYOFF message board. These people are no longer with the company. Do you work for business support? What an id–t.
3B IS A BUNCH OF C-ap. All is see is trickled down responsibility.
Crown jerks around contractors more than any other company in telecom. I pleaded for Mgt to hire an employee on my team that was quite honestly the best I ever worked with, Management kept the guy around for almost 2 years so he could make Mgt and team members look good, they then renewed his contract month to month and then cut him loose when he was more productive than any FTE on the team. Note to any contractors at Crown: Don't think for a minute that you will get a Full Time position at Crown, keep looking, many contractors made the same mistake of thinking they were going to get hired, 250 contractors and counting are now on the market courtesy of Crown.
I'm not an employee, but I was. A contractor, in fact. I tried for months to get in, and was thrilled when I did. I heard nothing but positive things regarding working at Crown.
I hoped to do my time as a contractor and earn my place as a FTE. It never happened. I was kept around after my contract was up (no renewal, just month to month, a popular way for Crown to skirt their own rules regarding contract employees) and was let go right around this time last year due to organizational changes in Business Support. If I had stayed, I would have been a part of that team.
It was a blessing in disguise. Working for current Business Support leadership (VP and up) would have made my career intolerable. Instead I am elsewhere as a respected full time contributor.
Best of luck to those still there, especially anyone reporting to LN or JM.
Negativity you say? Please put down the 3B Crown Juice! Look up the Salaries of Jay Brown and the leadership team, Brown giving away millions of Crown's money to charity, Crown Castle signing a mega deal with Dish and they then proceed to lay of hundreds of hard working loyal employees during a pandemic. Add in what another poster said about all the open jobs at Crown being in Digital Transformation and poor sales management, if this doesn't tick you off then Laura Nichol and her spying HR Crew are posting here. Don't be surprised if Eliot doesn't gut and sell off the Fiber Group soon. Get out while it's not too late.

Because the company has gone to sh– compared to what it was. That doesn't mean it's not still a good company. Going from 10 to 4 when everyone else is a 3 still s—s. You can't be that dense that you don't understand this.
Why is this question being asked on a "layoff forum?" Are you serious??? Do you think that people will be in the best of Spirits? That said, if you don't believe Crown has changed for the worse, you haven't been around very long. Whoever wrote the LN comment is brilliant!

I like my manager, I like my work, I like my team.
I dislike layoffs but overall I think this is a good place for me.
