Virtual Sales Experience

We received an email from Retail Sales Distribution. In the email it said they have been trialing since June a Virtual Sales Experience to better understand new ways to service customers. It goes on to say this will give customers access to products and services and retail experts but from the safety and convenience of shopping on line. Has anyone seen or experienced this? I am wanting to learn more about this. Is this just another avenue to get rid of COR stores in the very near future?

They tested this out in a Pilot in Boston over the summer. They ended up doing away with the program not even 2 months later, the excuse was “our Flagship store where the Virtual Sales was being done had little or not enough internet service “. I kid you not. The 8 people in the group had to take jobs back in retail. But yes you are right about retail. Closed 250 over the summer, another 500 coming by January, half have already been announced. Half sold to AR.
