Is there any specials happening? Is there anything left to sell?

This makes me sad. I worked @ Sears, and this was The Time of Year. I complained, but I actually enjoyed the frenetic pace. I shopped at Kmart too.
My kmart received a significant influx of home goods this month–nothing fancy but a lot of the stuff they used to have, just new brands
Went to Sears for the first time in months and was shocked how empty it was. Know on of the managers and he said they were doing less then $5000 a day during the week.
Whole sections of the store were empty.
You can buy Leena's dignity and integrity for a buck fifty.
Massive shrink??? Customers stealing paper towels and bath tissue from the cleaning supply closets? Nothing much else left of value in Sears stores.
I would check with LP, as they are in charge. Holiday shrink will be massive this season due to COVID
I can't find anything online showing Black Friday ads for Sears OR Kmart. Kind of like their stores. I can't find one anywhere! Oh yeah, that's because almost all of them have closed already. Here's an idea.... close the few that are still open to take advantage of the Christmas shopping season. They could both unload what little merchandise they have left and put themselves out of misery.
I have not seen any advertisement of the in-store doorbusters you spoke of. I would guess many retailers will not experience a "door busting" scenario when they open Friday morning due to so many lockdowns in place again.
And while the customers flock through the doors at opening time at the competition, the doors at Sears will open up with nobody waiting and empty parking lots.
There will be door busters in every department this year, not as many as previous years but some. Stores will be open based on mall hours on DATG and revert back to normal store hours after that or match mall hours if the SGM wants to. Last minute shipments hitting stores the beginning of the week.
Fitness items will be available to order but there will be none in the stores on display barring any left over equipment and 40 stores getting a pallet of proform steppers. New appliances are hitting stores too but customer orders won't hit till middle to the end of December if not longer out. Clothing items will vary from store to store but some hanes face masks/disney face masks and joe boxer items will be in large supply as well as some seasonal sweaters and pants.
Many of the tools items on sale now will remain the same price with some becoming door buster items that will be on sale for 10 days.
Any snow blowers?
We have plenty of shorts and bathing suits for sale at my store.
Old and broken fixtures that would otherwise be thrown in the dumpster.
Small discount on bedroom slippers and a few other odds & ends on Sears.com. No doorbusters in the stores this year apparently.
