San Diego site can not survive anymore, 100% gone
Some small-small sites shutdown will happen, especially high cost ones like San Diego
No more packages. Less expense with just laying people off instead of spending billions for PR ppurposes.
@xrq, if that is so, then it looks like IT is first as they have already had some cuts. 21 will be an interesting year for sure
TBH I doubt there will ever be ACT 2. The only interesting thing which might happen at corporate level is if something happens with the fabs.
The new POR is to have rolling layoffs. Every org does them a different month. You have no idea if you will be hit tomorrow or in 2 years.
A package would be an excellent Christmas Present
