AT&T, a place where products go to die

Pretty sure we are all getting bury by black Friday ads, the awesome folks at benefithub just send out one for home security 50% off deal. Nope, it isn't Digital Life, but another vendor which revenue does not support our bottom-line. If you work on anything that touches Digital Life, this is the type of support you are getting from the company. AT&T, a place where products go to die.

I made the mistake of signing up for Digital Life when it first came out. I've been extremely unhappy with the service I've received over the years. Integration with Amazon Alexa keeps breaking and I have to re-install it. I've had multiple installers here and each one tells me a different story. When it was first installed, it took 3 trips of people here....One group comes in with IDs visible and puts plastic booties over their shoes to keep my floor clean...The next guy just walks in with work boots and has no company ID. I ordered a new thermostat and it took multiple appointments to tell me that they can't install one on my system (could have told me that on the phone if they had only asked me what the wiring in my system looked like).
