Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Fresh leads are the only ones with rotating schedules

And we don't even get our 1 weekend off a month.

What's the point anymore? Just give us a set shift like every other hourly. Member and Merch leads have set shifts. Even the managers have set shifts for the most part.

Or is my club the only one with a manager who doesn't know how to write schedules?

So we're just going to ignore that that person said "s— it up buttercup"?

What is this, the Brady Bunch?

Our team lead gets to make the schedule. She is allowed to take off whatever time she wants, leaving her team to fend for themselves! I work the worst schedule there is, and have to fight for a day off!

Our Club has fresh leads closing then opening the next day, day after day. They work relentlessly. It is sad how the managers and the company can truly treat so many people so badly. I see how bad it affects the fresh leads and so many others, health. Company and management does not care about anyone or anything except themselves and their pocket. We are all replaceable and just another number.

All full-time associates should get rotating weekends off. Especially desk associates. Who do I call?

I stepped down from team lead for that very reason. Two days off in a row more important than a 1,20 an hour. Now that I work a regular schedule, I have time for my family.

Yup fresh leads close, open then open close different days off every week really frustrating I would rather close one week and open the next we only $2 more than other leads. Bucks arent that big to have such a messed up schedule

As a merch lead I can tell you at our club we have random schedules and no weekends off.

That's why you get paid the big bucks. Do you think that with all the raises there wouldn't be some kind of catch to that. Should've seen that coming.

Supposedly among the best associates in the building. Done got screwed. Not worth the money, and this is in the top two reasons why.
