A lot of what's been happening would never have even been an issue with competent leadership, something that this place sorely lacks. That's dangerous enough in normal times, but in the middle of a pandemic when the entire economy is in ruin? It's a disaster in the making. Things won't improve here until we have a complete overhaul at the top.

I'm stunned at how many former Lightower employees have left the company for Lightpath, VP'S, Directors, Sales Managers, reps all gone, Lightpath is now the former Lightower Group. Jay Brown showing Doug Turtz the door a few years back was a massive mistake, his Lightower Mgt team was very loyal to him, now the top reps are leaving and there's nothing Brown can do about it.
Completely agree with most of the statements above. The tower guys know nothing about the fiber industry. Bad investment on their part. Crown just rolled out an insulting compensation plan for Sales and Sales Management in network. All the fiber leaders in the east are a making a max exodus. Pre Crown Castle merger, Lightower was a place everyone wanted to work. They had little to no turn over The culture has completely changed under new leadership and good people are running for the hills!

The way the layoffs went down and were lopsided, I would guess one of two things: 1. More layoffs are coming 2. Part of the company is being groomed to be sold off
Everyone that has worked at Crown knows there is a Mgt problem, what does Jay and crew do about it? Nothing! Protect the do-nothings in Mgt so they can collect a fat paycheck and stock! The Lightower Mgt team in the East walks over everyone and HR.......all 1 of them.....does nothing about it. You complain and you are gone. Someone brought up Levandos, the guy spent a total of 2 seconds at his previous 2 employers and he gets hired to run CC into the ground, what a great hire. Troy Knuckles, our amazing Fiber sales leader doesn't have any social media presence, he's not even on LINKEDIN! I don't even want to talk about the non-existent Govt group or Carrier Group, try to get a hold of the leaders there and you might get a call back 1 month later.
Agreed. Whats more concerning is that the existing leadership at Crown is generously compensated for their indecisiveness & lack of direction. That's also probably what many investors see as well, combined with the fact that crown doesn't know what kind of business it wants to be in. We used to be a tower company until they decided they would rather pay a premium for existing assets vs building any ourselves. Crown heavily invested in SC & Fiber, but where is the ROI??? Guess Elliott was right after all based on all of the events that have transpired since they began complaining publicly. You might just be better off contacting them to find out what "our" next move will be.
