From a lawyer friend who knows several folks at Pembina. After all was said and done with the April layoffs, and "nickle and diming" individuals, between the HR hours, various admin time, litigation, and adjusting severance packages, they spent "exceedingly" more rather than do what was right. Within Canada or North America, I don't know of a more established company with their infrastructure that is so horribly mismanaged. It's clear there needs to be a management purge and bring in adult supervision.
