Don’t spend money, because layoffs and don’t visit family, because Covid. This can get real really fast and affect your mental health. Take care and take the time to do solitary fun things to take your mind off the big boulder sitting on your chests. Go easy on yourselves... because yes, this is a terrible time for CVE and Husky and it’s okay to be a bit of a shut in or be grumpy. Just know that you’re not alone. Execs won’t even realize this because they have closure.

Sad to say that what is happening with Cenovus and Husky is just a reflection of the rest of the chaos in the world today. Nobody really cares about anybody else, all that is important is share value and the size of the bonus to be achieved by culling a few thousand from the herd. Look after your own best interests because very few (if any) at CVE will be looking out for you.
The beatings will continue until moral improves, as they say.
