With Auction 107 smashing records, I'm afraid this board might be seeing heavy traffic in Q2 Q3, 2021

Moffett is saying Verizon might spend $45 billion on C-Band. Gulp

https://www.investors.com/news/technology/5g-wireless-auction-pressures-verizon-stock/

Heading into the C-Band auction, Wall Street analysts saw Verizon as the leading bidder for 5G wireless radio spectrum. The relative strength line of Verizon stock has been falling during the auction. There's speculation Verizon will spend much more, perhaps double or triple, the $15 billion originally estimated.
"Verizon's balance sheet will be more heavily burdened, which in turn means they will appear more richly valued than we had previously assumed," said Craig Moffett, analyst at MoffettNathanson in a report to clients. He added: "More of Verizon's future cash flows will be diverted to debt service, and their future returns will be lower."

If telecommunications services are what get you excited, you really need to get out in the world more. Find some new hobbies, maybe get a girlfriend.....

Oh you’ve met someone who is actually pumped about 5G? Which is barely available now and most phones aren’t capable. I haven’t heard anyone say 5G except on the boring uninspired Verizon commercials.

Hans will over pay for bandwidth, just like Lowell overpaid $130B for VOD's 1/2(45%) of wireless.

There haven't been a real deal makers at the top since the days of Ray Smith & Ivan Seidenberg.

Everyone cares about 5G. No one cares about wireline. You got your wires crossed there Skippy. See what I did there? Now go get approval from your Garage Boss to reply. Don't forget to clock out.

August 2023, no one gives a f*** about 5G just like today. Hans is already gone and you’re laid off.

To OP, don’t forget that the 107 auction is for a huge amount of bandwidth, 280 MHz worth of spectrum as opposed to the AWS auction where 60 or 65 MHz were sold. So the 107 auction is selling off 4x the amount of frequency than was offered in AWS. It will be pricey but too early to say it will translate into a massive RIF action,
