news flash, this is every company currently lol
IBM has long favored recent grads over mid-career professionals.
Sam Palmisano even said as much in one of his speeches many years ago.
Something like, "... hire young ... and train them for a lifetime of achievement at IBM..."
Wish I could find the transcript, but haven't managed to.
As a mid-career person... has always rankled me that this industry gives preferences to recent grads over the experienced in recent times...
When I was young... I was told I had to get the degree and put in the time to get to the levels of the older folks...
Once I did that... the rules changed and I got burned again, LOL!
Net result... never have made it to the uber salaries...
Cannot think of another degreed profession that has this headache.
I'm just going to guess here that the OP refers to the potential negative impact of age discrimination a k a non-diversity , meaning: focus on cheap trainees, maybe even without a college degree, thus remaining cheap, starving seniors from assignments.
Summit = early professional/college grad sales training program
Lmao what? Gotta train our salespeople somehow - great program
What is the Summit Program?
What do you mean? Why?
