What the share price will do in 2021 has nothing to do with what is good for employees. I do not see long term prospects for EM but I also expect the share price to return to mid 50’s sometime in 2021. This I have been buying.
Yet, the long term prospects that one needs to build a career are not there. By 2035 the need for fossil fuel products in our big markets - NA and EU - will be down to half or less. This impacts both upstream and downstream. Dallas drones still repeat the argument that oil and oil products will have a market in India and China but do not say that we cannot compete with the new, local production facilities there and, of course, the Saudis and the Russians will undercut everybody to sell as much of their underground reserves as possible while crude is still in the market. EM as a fossil company has entered the phase of permanent decline. Most people hired after 2010 will not retire from this company as is today.
When will ExxonMobil be bought!!!!!!!! Maybe by the CCP!!!!! It’s a culture fit!!
Short term game right?
The long term game is what is of concern.
As long as the CSR crusade and it's fraud continues to disseminate, we will reap the subtle benefits here in Spring. We all look forward to a brighter 2021.
Great article. Thanks OP. I'm on board.
You don’t need an article or any expert analysis to know the future. If you don’t understand this, then you are blind.
Don’t deceive yourself. But whoever wants to milk the gravy rain as long as they can then okay, but understand the end game.
For every positive spin article you find there are ten or more with a negative view I bet.
Exxonmobil back on top is laughable! Lol. The companies gloy days are behind it as it's being led by sycophants.
Must be the case if someone on seekingalpha said so. Hahaha
