Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Farley on Twitter

Anyone else notice how much time our new CEO spends on Twitter? Obsessing over his public image seems to be his top priority.

Was on a meeting recently where Farley was in attendance. Let’s just say I was very unimpressed and quite frankly I am worried about the future. If the Lions are any indication of the ability of the Ford family, we are all screwed.

He's an embarrassment and his past behavior alone should have disqualified him from ever becoming CEO.

I guarantee it’s him. Ford PR would never respond “cool” to an Elon Musk tweet (which is pathetic).

All part of a carefully crafted PR plan to make the public see he is not the crazy Jim who said he wanted to beat General Motors people over the head with a bat just a few years ago

If not Tweeting, he is pushing out reams of fluffy press Releases about what a “car guy” he is and how his Grandfather used to work at Ford. He is a legend in his own mind.

A bunch of random incomplete sentences every day or so. He's not maintaining the feed, Ford more than likely has this contracted out. Some kid in India has his feed on his list of a few hundred that they run through every day or so and make posts.
