OP. agreed. Truthfully, it is all useless. No one is listening. They will not change because not a single person in that group has the courage nor the wisdom to kickoff a change movement. This is corporate greed and every person for himself/herself. There is lack of true leadership. They clearly talk the talk and they bore you with maxims and slogans, yet when it is time to take action no one is moving a muscle. Are you or anyone else surprised? Things have a way of working out eventually and each person will get what is coming to him/her. Yes, it is unfair, unethical, and wrong that workers are being laid off while the fat cats are getting fatter; that is the world in which we are living. Not easy, but all I can offer is this: change your situation. That may mean looking for another job somewhere else that may align better with your ideals. If you are still at Nike, use this time to secure that move - do not wait until are laid off. Nike's leadership is known for its unethical behavior and the company, in general, is known for controversy, wrong-doing, and general lack of humanity be it in their labor practices, material sourcing, and political stance. Win at all cost is what Nike does. That cost, at times, is too high for us employees because we end up paying for it.
