So it seems like Client Reps and overlays in the sales organization were told today their teams were getting disbanded. They were told to find other jobs within IBM. Unsure if you can consider this an RA or not but it is surely going to affect at least a couple hundred people.

We badly need simplification in Sales both for the customers' benefit and our own
We should expect cuts across IBM not just one area
The only way you will hear the rumors is to go stand by the water cooler. If you are Work at Home, that is impossible now....
If you manager is honest with you, they will let you know when stuff is up ahead of time.
They don’t know much, but they do know enough to be honest with people

I feel sorry for the individuals involved, but I can't say I'm sorry to see the overlays gone. We badly need simplification in Sales both for the customers' benefit and our own.
