Thread regarding Change Healthcare layoffs

Game Over

Sold to Optum. Neil and friends make out with a huge payday, and the rest of us get to look for low-paying jobs during a pandemic and significant economic uncertainty. Truly, this is a testament of what is wrong with self-serving corporate boards, and this is a story that is played over and over. I regret sticking it out and should have invested my time in jumping ship when so many others saw the writing on the wall. This place has been a dumpster fire for years, and Neil et al just kept throwing on fuel. Makes sense now why they pushed so hard to cut departments. Wonder how long this has been planned?

Corporate greed at its finest! My last pay raise was 1.5% and that was two years ago. Neil and buddies just lined their greedy pockets out of company in massive debt!

The rich get richer!

No one is safe at this company, least of all those that work hard and try to make a difference. They are about cutting costs, everywhere they can, they do not see workers as people, we are numbers. Pretty much that is how it is in most Corp America companies today, people need to stop thinking a company is looking out for them, they are not, they are out for the shareholders and most importantly board of directors.

In this situation, praying the top level leadership Neal and his cronies do not last long at Optum, and hopefully those in charge at Optum see through their nonsense and get rid of them quickly. As for the rest of us, it may be a blessing in disguise as we are now going to be part of a successful Corp America machine and hopefully their will be opportunities for all to make changes, if not, then hopefully layoff packages will at least be a bit better than they have in the past.

I guess my concern is if the patient financial health division in Georgia will make the cut with Optum's vision in the future? Poor leadership, poor revenue performance and disengaged employees what lies ahead for these folk?

A sewer it has become. Just goes to show even a gaggle of chimps can succeed in a difficult economic environment.

Neil smoking cigars and drinking champagne on his yacht while the bottom feeders, the ones who make the company, are wondering if the can pay the bills. Saw this coming years ago, that's why I jumped ship. That company is a sewer who's stench can be smelled for hundreds of miles. Anyone who still thinks that they have some sort of a future in this out of control dumpster fire is living in a world full of fairies. Look forward to more massive layoffs, pay cuts, benefit cuts and better start learning Tagalog. ASAP!
So glad I left that stinking, festering sore of a company.
