I get sick when I see incompetent people progressing here. They assign them to positions where they have nothing to offer. Experience and skills seem to be becoming less and less valued in this company. This is devastating, especially since the people who really deserve these positions are not only degraded, but literally expelled.
How else could these mediocrities come to the fore if they don’t fire people with expertise before that. I’m totally disappointed to see how degraded TR is. With the way the company is run, I am losing all hope that things will improve.

I learned a long time ago that using proper English is no longer a job requirement for both internal & external communications. Managers encourage the write it and get it out regardless of how it sounds/looks mentality. Why? Because it means they can give employees more work to do. It's the old adage 'Good Enough'!
Yes, the Peter Principal prevails here. LOL.
This is absolutely correct; perfect mediocrity is sought and rewarded. People signal it to the group, for instance, by using words like "align" and "impacted" over and over again to convey, "I'm just like you, everybody." I have seen so many communications by people that can't articulate and string together three ideas into a coherent paragraph it makes me sick. You see VPs on company-wide communications that can't manage to keep their verb tenses consistent in a 7-item list, etc. etc. But they don't make their peers feel uncomfortable, and that's what matters.
Well said and spot on, the people that remain are happy, mainly because they keep getting a paycheck, not because they are actually happy. TR doesn't stress you from a performance perspective, they are totally ok with mediocrity. People that want to stay under the radar, have an excellent work life balance, TR is the perfect place for them. They don't attract the hungry go getters who want to be on the cutting edge of technology. If you have spent time in any of the main hubs, you know what I am talking about, a bunch of 9-4'ers with an hour for lunch, who spend most of their days doing the bare minimum. Literally people just walk around for exercise.
