Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Covid 19 on the raise at Olathe Kansas aero

Layoff.com is a wormy site, this post has been taken down twice/nothing mentioning anyone names etc was in the post to violate rules.

So much for 1st amendment, this site must be getting money under the table to take down postings.

Over the past two weeks , there has been approximately 20 new cases of Covid-19, management cares more about getting the backlog down, ship commits etc. rather than common sense on reducing exposure to the virus.
It’s all about the management worried their bosses at corporate will not get a plentiful bonus.
You could work 12 hours,6 days a week and be riffed ASAP with no remembering of who loyal you were

Nothing new, all companies have staff whose job is to monitor all media and to respond to things written there whatever way they see fit, but unless they own it, they have no full power over it.
They may ask the media owners to take something down, just like you and I can, but it’s probably not gonna happen unless there is a legal ground for it.
So if you are smart enough to follow the usual netiquette and to avoid naming names, swearing and bullying others chances are your post won’t get nuked.

HoneyHell absolutely monitors the posts and asks Layoff to remove anything they don't like. They have for years. Most paranoid bunch I've ever seen. The "leaders" don't even trust each other! It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.

@1oxm, Honeywell is monitoring this site and flagging posts. Some threads are being removed even though they don’t violate the content rules. Layoffs.com does not have the time to investigate the claims in detail and is presumably averse to potential litigation from dozens or hundreds of companies. If posts are removed unfairly, they should be reposted if the orginal text is available, although that doesn’t cover the comments where the HW triggering was likely to have occured. Not surprisingly HW is acting like a bully and is suppressing free speech. They should be responding to the concerns raised here in a productive manner.

Honeywell does not own this site, just look how many different forums it has.
If something gets removed it IS because of site rules violation, so something written has probably triggered the review and was nuked by site mods.
My bet is you eather used too offensive language or posted personally identifiable info (PIi).

I’m not sure why Honeywell removed the prior posts. If there is an eventual lawsuit, it won’t look good that they are suppressing valuable health/safety information.
