It sounds like GTS folks are pretty safe.. immune from this round of reorg and RA? Can people still join GTS now?

NewCo is for shedding costs and helping the numbers, and most importantly the stock, of RemainCo. Why else would IBM split off this side of the business? AK recently said RemainCo will be one of the largest customers of NewCo. NewCo has to figure out how to make profit. The next few months will be interesting but unfortunately it will come with a lot of RAs. I still haven't figured out how the Garage thing is going to work.....
GTS will be heavily impacted in Q1.
If your in GTS your toast. Your leaders have failed you. Rodrigo tried to change things but look where he ended up. Get out now. You will be happy to have that steaming pile of sh– in your rear view mirror.
Will GTS be impacted? Of course they will! Just do the math They have already announced that Newco (GTS) will end up with approx 90k worth of headcount. I would speculate GTS today has approx 130-140k. Doing the math says 40-50k will be impacted
I heard GTS will not be impacted, however I am not sure.
