Doubtful. By eliminating healthcare subsidy in retirement for those on payroll Jan 1 2022, many will leave that get this subsidy. I doubt they will need voluntary or involuntary layoffs beyond those notified in Oct 2019 their job is going to Accenture. They will be notified in mid-Feb with 2 weeks notice

Days of offers are over, they are starting to take away benefits to get people to leave, if you left by December 2020 you kept your medicare HRA benefit or you lose it, if you leave by December 2021 you dont lost your pre-65 healthcare benefits, they are changing how they add to your pension, updates starting in 2022 will be much smaller, just took away 1 weeks vacation from the old timers, so no need to offer packages they will force people out with no severance with threats of lost benefits that were promised , it is not just AT&T, many companies do this as the retirement benefits cost alot, not personal, just business!!!

What are these "offers"? There are no, and have been no "offers" for years. There are layoffs, and there is severance (for now). That's it. "Offer" implies incentive. There is none.
