Someone has written a script to Up! and down vote comments. You can no longer trust what you see for the up and down votes.

Seriously? Now you think someone wrote a script? This is comical.
Oh! This is new. First time I see someone whining about down votes. I thought only pro-XOM people calling others whinnies. Let's see if the script works on my comment.
OP: I think you are a clueless EMIT expert, who lost all technical skills and now solves problems based on hunch and what the contractor says. You really need to google scripting for couple of days.

It's true - and I am sorry.
I wrote the down vote script on single malt Scotch.
I wrote the up vote script on wormy Tequila.
Unlike the OP - I don't go to cheap brandy in the AM.
I got better things to do.

it wasn't someone from EMIT, they don't have that skillset, and the script didn't go through a security assessment and then die under the weight of everyone's collected apathy.
That'll happen when a talented IT guy gets laid off.
