I guess they had to lay off a few young people to cover up for obvious age discrimination.
Just had mine— 30 day notice and 90 day severance. 32 y/o been with IBM 5 years. Knew it would happen at some point, just didn't think it'd be this soon. Sad day....

RA Thursday is definitely today, I am in US commercial, oldest on the team, package is 30 days notice, 3 months severance, 1 yr medical and 1 year COBRA

It’s today for most folks IBM wants to take a charge against 4th Q earnings to put the restructuring behind them. I would expect any selloff news to be announced during the earnings call

@aho That seems to have been the pattern in the past. Who needs bad layoff press right before an earnings announcement? Some may happen today but I personally think RA Thursday is the 21st - maybe as late as the 28th. Just my opinion. Good luck to all.
Usually RA are after Q1 announcements.
