What will be the next thing they'll cut to compensate for increasing the starting pay to $15 since it seems we're still paying for it? Bring us down to 2 minute breaks? Cut the few remaining benefits we have? What? It makes me so angry that Bezos made this big deal about the starting pay bump when every single one of us knows he screwed us over in every other aspect. I'm guaranteeing you he is paying less now than before.

If John Mackey had stood up to the board and not stepped back and let Walter Robb run his company, he would still be the owner today. Robb ran WFM into the ground and we are collateral damage. John gets 13 billion dollars and keeps CEO position, Robb gets a huge severance package and what did we get? They cut labor so now we have to do the job of two to three people. We are always behind and are stressed out. They cut back our benefits and we now have high deductibles and went from 80/20 to 75/25. They took our paid for 30 min lunch away and now we have to clock out for lunch everyday starting next month. Implemented a ridiculous dress code. Who knows what other miserable new things Amazon will do to us. If Mackey wanted to sell why didn't he sell to a better company? Everyone knows Amazon treats their people bad. We need more help!!!!!!! We are being asked to do way too much for $15.00 an hour. Someone is going to bring in a Union because of the poor treatment. We never needed it before because Mackey was good to us. What made him decide to shaft us?
Why would he pay you more or give you anything? Just because the company could pay you more doesn't mean they will. How do you think he got to where he is today ? Its not from being a generous nice guy, he crushes competition and is purely number driven.
