Suing? Really? Who cares if you sign away your right to sue. You are never going to sue. It costs to much and you would never be hired again by any other company. Companies undertake background checks.

Don't even entertain suing. You never will, it costs too much, it takes too long and you would never get that much if you even won anything.

Lol you can sue for anything in this country. Doesn't mean your going to win.

This company has legal experts on payroll for this kind of thing. They will bury you in legal fees before anything good comes your way. Typical of corporate America.

If you think you can win a case for discrimination just for being placed on PIP, why the outpouring of anger last July? PIP is not new, it's been here for years and years.

Even the PiL waiver holds no constraint on lawsuits.
Only reduces any payout by the 3 month compensation.
In other words - it was poorly written and communicated.
It is bad lawrin even in Tejas.

No, on PIP you keep your full rights. You can take fmla, you can even use their treatment of you during PIP as evidence of discrimination.

Later if you are fired and sue, they would attempt to claim that you were a lousy worker. You will be claiming you were discriminated/retaliated against.

If you get severance you are ok with, only then you sign your rights away. No severance - no signature.
