Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

AT&T management can't be trusted

If we learned anything from the last year and the announcements .....Management from AT&T cannot be trusted and don't believe anything they say. If their mouth is moving they are lying or planning next attack. Management team has done nothing for the customer or the employee. All around S—

Perfectly said, @2coy+18SmdsYt.

Management has done anything for workers except for good pay and benefits. And good phone and TV service for customers. Keep up the good work.

So you don't trust management anymore? You must have woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

In response ‘Management is not a group workabees...’. Corporations do exist in a hierarchical structure. And they are arranged in a pyramidal fashion — meaning those on the top like shareholders have the most power. Those below...for example CEO, next powerful level; Presidents, VPs, next....and down the line. Those who hold the title of manager are way down the line of ‘power’ and are considered ‘workers’. And as I’m sure you’re aware, there are many different roles of management employees. Nonetheless, they are in fact ‘workabees’. Perhaps the title of ‘manager’ is what you object....

Cut the "managment" some slack. They scream "Union Filth" because they are terrified of leaving their desks and the possibility having to physical work.(IE strike duty) Face it, you are old, you think you can be retired in place, but the company has found you out and the company wants you gone. Thank you for your service. Now get out before 12-30-2021

Managers say “Union filth” to receive golf claps on daily s— up calls.

Union filth still hasn't figured out the difference between their bosses and "management."

Management is not a group of workabees ! Complete opposite in fact. They just push numhers up the chain and deal out punishment. They offer no guidance at all. Our plant is failing from neglect and our supervisors only care about how many cones you have out and is your work truck clean.

You can be a King or a lowly street sweeper, soon enough you dance with the reaper, or something like that. Either way The King Stank will point his poisioned finger on those deemed to be able to be out sourced.

Directing your ire toward "management" is misguided. "Management" is anyone not bargained for. I am management, an individual contributor with no direct reports. I'm not making announcements or policy or otherwise screwing you over in any way. Your beef is with "leadership". As is mine.

Good little brown shirts. Golf clap at all ideas from the uppers or... you’ll be canceled! Where do you think the cancel culture started?

Why even listen to upper management?
As a matter of fact, try to avoid all contact with anyone in management.
Nothing good can come of it.
Smile, wave, get all directives by email "in case you forget."
Stop caring.
They don't.

Management are the ‘workabees’. They do not set policy. They execute the goals of the organization. C-level leadership establish what those goals are and they are beholden to share and stake holders. Period. ‘Management’ are always the fall guys, unfortunately. Your vitriol is misplaced, in this instance.

I trust our leadership...

I trust them to enrich themselves handsomely while they f*ck over employees, shareholders and customers!
