Older folks are not the only ones who were RA'd yesterday. I'm 33 and I've been let go just a little over a year since I was hired. I left a good job to transfer here because I considered working at IBM to be an amazing opportunity. And now I'm jobless in the middle of a pandemic. Thanks a lot, IBM! And f you!

I was at IBM for 25 years, was like being held in ADX florence, when I got the call in may 2020 I cheered and said yippee, best thing they ever did, my new job has 50% of the pay of IBM but I’m much happier and would never go back
Unfortunately they need to include some younger people to document they are not practicing age discrimination.
You are just collateral damage... IBM layoffs old people but also has to lay off young people so it can show that it is not age discrimination.... That is a heads up for you young people who think it is smart to join IBM. Don't... There are plenty of other companies that are more serious than IBM and that care about people's careers...

Big Issue... You left a job 1yr ago, to get on the Titanic (IBM)... Holy Cow, not a good plan... These RA's have been happening since forever... Even having IBM on your resume may hurt you... Who does that?
