Too bad I cannot volunteer to switch jobs with someone that needed to stay employed. I would gladly volunteer to leave the $hit show that Ratty and Stinky did transforming T into toilet water!

Wish I could swap jobs with someone to save someone that wanted to be saved, and get out of the T $hithole.

The layoffs won’t have any impact on 3rd level and above.

Just glad we finally got a date.
Don’t know exact numbers. FBO had 4000+, but some retained, some found jobs (most in higher pay scales), and many retired voluntarily last year to keep the $2700 Medicare supplement which was eliminated 12/31/2020.
Probably still a thousand that will leave that rode it out till the end. Especially since losing pre Medicare supplement if you don’t leave this year.

I know this answer is unpopular, but how do you expect these roles to stay in the U.S. when we just elected a President (Vice for now, but c'mon man) who still has family in India? Time to stop being racist and start being fair.

Well, it's a month before the notice. Do what you can do to put the percentages in your favor, and then, see what happens. At the very least, there should be no one sandbagged by this notice. Have as much figured out by the off-payroll date as possible. Trim expenses if appropriate, etc, etc, etc.

This surplus was announced in October 2019 with no known notification date and that their jobs would be outsourced to Accenture. This group has worked 15 months knowing the retained were training Accenture and with this hanging over them. Did many leave prior to finally getting the end date?

Sorry to hear so many good employees were treated this way
